Introduction:

Jurei is an Asian American man whose goal is to finally separate his soul from his past friend, Dolor, who has been terrorizing his life since he was born.

Complications:

Jurei and Dolor often fight for control of Jureiā€™s body. Due to this, Jurei may experience ā€œManic Episodesā€, which is just Dolor taking control and ruining everything.

Abilities:

  • Fire Manipulation, self explanatory. Dolor can cause fire to appear or disappear at certain points.
  • Spirit Eyes, Dolor and Jurei can see spirits.
  • Dark Blast, Dolor releases a blast of dark energy, causing any enemies nearby to be sent flying back.
  • ā€œFALLā€, With a simple word, that being ā€˜fallā€™, any person in a one mile radius will sink to their knees and will remain there until either Dolor or Jurei say otherwise.
  • My Shadow, Dolorā€™s true form is revealed, and can be used to overwhelm the opponent. For example, Jurei throws a couple jabs below, while Dolor attacks from above. Dolor can either appear as a shadow, or Dolor when he is possessing Jurei.(third photo) Dolor will often appear from Jureiā€™s back, and cannot talk.
  • Switch Back!, control of Jureiā€™s body will be either given to Dolor, or back to Jurei.

Personality:

Jurei is reserved, apathetic, and a bit condescending at first, but underneath that ā€œhardenedā€(Iā€™m using it loosely) exterior lies a scared man who pushes people away, not wanting to get hurt from Dolor. While in combat, Jurei gets extremely condescending and cocky.
Dolor is rowdy, irritable, rebellious, and overall unpredictable. Jurei often appears as manic, due to the sudden behavior changes.

Backstory:

Jurei in his past life wasā€¦ A bit of a dick. In the Dark Ages, Jurei caused nothing but trouble when he was young, due to hisā€¦ Lack of sympathy, Jurei did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. Eventually, it came back to bite him right on his- anyway. Jurei befriended what wouldā€™ve been his most loyal friend since elementary school. Meet Dolor, a man with inspiring dreams to be one of the best blacksmiths. Dolor one day, caught his own wife doingā€¦ Infidelity with Jurei. Such an act angered Dolor and the two fought. After winning the fight, Jurei killed Dolor. But, he left Jurei a little parting gift, forever sealing their fates. For Dolor had bounded the two together, when Jurei met his inevitable death(he died of old age), he reincarnated to his present day self, where Dolor instantly went to, and began the eternal haunting for what he has done. No matter what, Jurei will be subject to reincarnation upon death, even if his soul has been shattered, for this is, and forever will be, his curse.

Fighting Styles:

Loyalty is Jureiā€™s basic fighting style, which includes him usingā€¦ A gun. Heā€™s kind of useless without it, relying on Dolor for hand to hand combat.
Ultimate - Butterfly Effect. Jurei shoots a piercing bullet.
Theme: Growling Hound

Treachery is Dolorā€™s basic fighting style, focused directly on Dolorā€™s eternal rage, if Dolor gets his hands on you, itā€™s over. Based on speed and damage.
Ultimate - Picked Clean. Dolor grabs the enemyā€™s leg, slamming them back and forth, before climbing on top of them and beating them rapidly.
Theme: Wounded Hound

Remembrance is Jureiā€™s infamous sword style that he had crafted in his previous life. More reliant on slashing than stabbing, however, this does not stop him from stabbing anyway. Jurei can learn this style once again, after he obtains his sabre.
Ultimate - Showdown. Jurei will counter an attack with an upward slash, a side slash, a stab, twist, then a downward slash.
Theme - ism

Reprieve is Jureiā€™s secret fighting style, and is overall extremely unique, due to him combining the forces of his M9 and sword. Jurei cannot learn this style until he is at peace with his eternal curse as it requires both of them to truly max out its potential.
Ultimate - Essence of Forgiveness. Jurei holds up his sword and takes a stance, if attacked, Jurei will kick the enemy back, shoot them twice, slash them once, stab, and finally end the attack with a twirl, and a side slash, while shooting them in the head.
